Working Options in Education is an employability and life skills programme developed by registered charity Monkey Business Foundation.
We provide all our services in schools, colleges and for young people free of charge. We rely on the funds we raise, support from companies and our committed volunteers to deliver our Insight from Industry and employability skills workshops.
There are several ways to get involved in our work.
Become a corporate partner
We offer a range of corporate partnership opportunities including exposure for your company at our annual fundraising events. Contact us to discuss opportunities.
Attend one of our fundraising events
We run two annual events with proceeds split equally between the Working Options in Education programme and charity Grocery Aid.
- President’s Dinner (September 2019)
- Leadership Symposium (7 November 2019)
Volunteer as a speaker, ambassador or lead a skills workshop
Our Insights from Industry sessions in schools and colleges are led by volunteer speakers from industry. We also run skills workshops led by volunteer facilitators. We’re always on the lookout for new volunteers and welcome individuals from all levels and disciplines within the food, drink and retail industry.
Get in touch if you’re interested in joining us or you’d like us to run a lunchtime session on volunteering with us at your workplace.
Provide work experience for students
If your company is able to offer an environment where school or college students or recent leavers can get much needed work experience, please get in touch.
Fundraise for us
Whether you’re a company, a school, college or an individual, please consider raising money for us so that we can reach more young people and help them to fulfil their potential. Could you nominate us for a Give as you Earn Scheme or as a Charity of the Year partner where you work?
